The Best Connection is now recruiting Cat C Drivers on an ADHOC basis to support our client during peak periods throughout the in the Horley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking to boost their income with flexible, ongoing work in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.
Shift Details:
- Start Time: 06:00 AM
- Finish Time: Approx. 15:00 PM
- Days: Tuesday to Saturday ( Guaranteed 2 days work a week)
- Duration: Ongoing ADHOC work
Job Overview of the Cat C Driver:
- Deliver drinks and barrels to businesses using a Cat C vehicle.
- You'll work alongside a drivers mate to assist with unloading - some manual handling involved.
- Routes will cover various UK locations starting from Horley.
Main Responsibilities of a Cat C driver
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (pre- and post-operation) ensuring safety and compliance.
- Follow a set delivery schedule, liaising with dispatch for efficient routing.
- Ensure all deliveries are made professionally and safely, adhering to company and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Valid Category C Licence
- CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- A positive attitude and willingness to work
