Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our highly successful Student Support team. This role is the perfect fit for a proactive and flexible person capable of making a positive impact on our students.

You will be working directly with students, facilitating them to continue with their education and supporting them to be ready for work; you will collaborate closely with curriculum teams to deliver and plan personalised intervention sessions for students with wellbeing and pastoral needs in small groups and 1:1.

You will have a shared responsibility for monitoring and supporting students on your caseload, including those with mental health and wellbeing needs so empathy and a wider knowledge of specific support needs is important. If you do not already hold a Mental Health First Aid qualification, training will be provided.

It is essential that you are a confident liaising with not only students, but also their parents/carers and wider professionals as the role will include multi-agency working.

You will need to be well organised with attention to detail as the role will require you to support the service in accurate recording and monitoring of safeguarding and welfare concerns. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young people and/or vulnerable adults to remove barriers and support safeguarding.

This role will be full time, 37 hours per week and based across all College campuses.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 12th November 2025 with interviews due to be held week commencing 17th November 2025. The successful candidate will join our team from January 2026.

You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be encouraged to upskill.

We have a free gym at our Watford Campus, and you can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, pension, generous holiday scheme, time off at Christmas and early finishes on a Friday.
