An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy small-animal practice in Camden, North London.

This is a full-time permanent role, working 40 hours per week over 4 days, with a shared 1 in 3 Saturday rota or 1 in 6 full weekends at a nearby referral hospital.

The Practice

The Role

You’ll enjoy a healthy mix of consulting and surgical duties. One day per week will typically involve sole charge, with the remaining days shared between consultations and surgical responsibilities. Perform consultations, diagnostic workups, and routine surgical procedures.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Support team members and contribute to a positive working environment.
Ensure compliance with all professional, regulatory, and health & safety standards.
Work closely with colleagues to optimise practice performance and client satisfaction.
Participate in mentoring and supporting less experienced team members when required.

About You

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
Confident in both surgery and consultation settings.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Comfortable with occasional sole charge.
Commitment to delivering excellent patient and client care.
A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach to clinical practice.

Benefits

Competitive salary up to £50,000 dependent on experience.
Supportive, friendly environment with opportunities for professional development.
Varied caseload with the chance to grow both surgically and clinically.
Excellent work–life balance through a 4-day week.
