We are seeking a dedicated Technical Compliance Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of technical service delivery across our sites. In this role, you will work closely with operational teams as the internal reviewer of technical compliance, continuously assessing that all sites meet statutory and contractual obligations. Your expertise will help maintain robust, documented evidence of completed work, while also ensuring that our policies on Safe Systems of Work and Contractor Management are rigorously applied. As a key member of our compliance team, you will provide essential assurance to business leadership that our sites are operating safely, efficiently, and in full adherence to all regulatory and quality standards.
What You'll Do:
Working with site leads to ensure the deployment of standard Quality Management Systems across all sites.
Assessing and reporting on site performance against contract and statutory obligations.
Developing a technology based framework for reviewing, assessing, reporting, and correcting risks in a high, medium, and low standard process.
Conducting continuous site visits through structured and agreed planning with Site Business Directors.
Producing and managing a regional risk register.
Reviewing Safe Systems of Work and Control of Contractors processes.
Reviewing Maximo statutory work orders (Planned, Corrective, Reactive) to ensure all work is properly evidenced.
Presenting training workshops to site teams.
What You Bring:
Essential
Significant experience within a complex PFI and Consortium environment.
Change management in business process driven culture change.
NeBosh and technical discipline qualified
Developing and managing internal and external relationships to ensure desirable outcomes.
Ability to work across functions and with client and suppliers to achieve outcomes.
SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timebound) planning and organisational skills.
Attention to detail, quality driven approach.
Strong Influencing skills.
Effective communication skills.
Authentic leadership skills
Can work flexibly, travel required
Desirable
Held previous HTM Authorised Person formal appointments.
NeBosh Fire Safety certified
Membership of a recognised industry professional body
