Your new role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will lead complex tenders and manage a varied contract portfolio. You'll design and deliver procurement strategies that ensure compliance with public procurement legislation while driving aggregation and best value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end procurement processes across multiple projects.
- Developing compliant procurement documentation and contract notices.
- Advising stakeholders on specifications, evaluation criteria, and best practice.
- Managing evaluation processes and providing clear feedback to bidders.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
- This role offers a blend of strategic influence and hands-on delivery, requiring proactive leadership and excellent stakeholder engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Public sector procurement experience and strong knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations, Equality Act, and Modern Slavery requirements.
- Proficiency in e-procurement systems and contract management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including report writing.
- Ability to manage complex procurement pipelines and deliver value for money.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
