Summary
Job Overview
-To ensure the successful delivery of each contract, operations must be managed safely, efficiently, and in full alignment with the agreed service specifications. This includes maintaining high standards across 24-hour operations, ensuring adequate materials and equipment are available, and that all buildings and services are delivered to the required quality. Regular monitoring of progress against targets, accurate wage records, and the availability of competent staff are essential to maintaining operational control and service excellence. Additional work outside the original scope must be agreed upon with the client, properly documented, actioned, and costs recovered accordingly.Strong client relationships are central to effective contract management. This involves regular, recorded communication, acting as the main point of contact for all services, and ensuring that any concerns or complaints are swiftly investigated, resolved, and documented. Liaising closely with clients helps align service delivery with their expectations and ensures that site operations are transparent and responsive. Managing contracts in line with specifications and maintaining a clear audit trail of decisions and actions builds trust and accountability.Health, safety, and compliance are foundational to all operations. A positive safety culture must be promoted across all sites, with thorough risk and hazard assessments conducted before any work begins. All activities must comply with Mitie's policies and safe systems of work, ensuring a secure environment for staff and clients alike. The risk of accidents involving equipment, plant, or PPE must be minimized through proper training, maintenance, and supervision. Staff training should be planned to meet both operational needs and safety requirements, ensuring a skilled and compliant workforce capable of delivering consistent, high-quality service.
Main Duties
-Ensure staffing Levels are maintained
-Ensure high standards are delivered through the contract.
-Identify opportunities for efficiencies.
-Ensure SLA's are met and delivered tot he client periodically.
-Ensure compliance through all service lines.
-Manage client relationships and expectations.
What we are looking for
-Member of British Institute Facilities Management (MBIFM) desireable but not essential
-IOSH
-5 years Contract Management experience
-5 years Management of People / Teams- large 24 hour teams
-3 years Customer care/relationship building skills
-Ability to manage change successfully
-Microsoft Office and bespoke company programs- training will be given
