Working Hours: 40 hours per week

IPS is working with an innovative and fast-growing InsurTech who are expanding its UK claims operation. This is an excellent opportunity to join their team as an FNOL Claims Handler becoming the initial point of contact for customers when they report a motor incident.

The Role:

You will handle First Notification of Loss (FNOL) calls, capturing accurate incident details and assessing the situation to ensure each claim is set up correctly from the very start. You’ll be speaking with customers at a stressful moment, so a calm and reassuring approach is essential as you ensure they receive a seamless journey.

You’ll work closely with internal colleagues and external suppliers to keep processes moving effectively and maintain exceptional levels of service. As the UK operation continues to grow, you’ll also play a role in improving workflows and customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

- Handling incoming FNOL calls and logging claims accurately
- Gathering details on liability, third parties and property damage
- Identifying any potential fraud indicators
- Liaising with partners to progress claims efficiently
- Working to quality and service targets

About You:

You’ll have previous experience handling motor FNOL calls within an insurer or claims environment, with strong communication skills and a confident, customer-focused approach. You thrive in a fast-paced setting, can manage multiple demands, and have great attention to detail when capturing incident information.

What’s in it for You:

You’ll receive a competitive salary and bonus, overtime pay enhancements, private medical cover, life insurance and pension support. The role is hybrid, with full office presence during probation and then 4 days per week in the office. There may be the odd Saturday shift, which will be paid as overtime, along with some bank holiday cover once fully established.

If you’re looking to develop your career within a modern, tech-driven insurer and enjoy being at the heart of customer support, apply today or get in touch.
