About the Role
Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a dedicated female Support Worker to join our Supported Living service, providing compassionate care to adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to help individuals live independently, build confidence, and connect with their communities.
Due to the nature of the support required, consistency is key—once inducted, the same worker will be allocated shifts throughout November to ensure continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs
Assist with daily living skills and tenancy maintenance
Support access to community activities and social engagement
Follow support plans and contribute to personal outcomes
Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and permanent staff
Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards
♀️ Who We’re Looking For
Female support worker (due to service user preferences)
Empathetic, respectful, and passionate about helping others
Flexible and reliable, able to work shifts and lone work
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Experienced or willing to learn how to support individuals with complex needs
Additional Information
Induction and service-specific training provided
Enhanced DBS and references required before placement
You’ll be based on-site at one of our supported living houses
