Job Description

The Fire Door Inspector/Maintainer will conduct fire door surveys, remedial works, and installations to the highest standard, following the BM Trada Q-Mark scheme.

This role covers a variety of client properties throughout the designated region.

Emphasising world-class building services maintenance, you will ensure that all fire door-related tasks are performed with precision and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for Fire Door PPM, remedial repairs and installation works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded

Provide accurate remedial quotations

Occasionally assist with other carpentry/joinery works as instructed

Ensure that all Fire Doors operates to specified performance criteria

Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction

Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

NVQ/City & Guilds in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification
OR
Time served carpentry and joinery experience

Applicants who have served a recognised craft apprenticeship will be preferred

Must be IT literate

Full UK Driving License

Significant experience in Fire Door Surveys, door maintenance and door set installations/Replacements

Significant previous experience in providing PPM building services maintenance
