Summary

Key Responsibilities
• Mow, edge, and trim grassed areas using appropriate machinery and tools.
• Apply weed control treatments and fertilizers as needed.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as aeration, reseeding, and leaf clearance.
• Inspect grounds regularly and report any issues (e.g., pests, damage, safety hazards).
Maintain shrubs
• Prune, trim, and shape shrubs and hedges to maintain healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Remove dead, diseased, or damaged branches and foliage.
• Apply mulch, fertilizers, and pest control treatments as needed.
• Monitor plant health and report signs of disease or infestation.
• Weed and clear debris from shrub beds and borders.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and powered equipment (e.g., hedge trimmers, loppers).
• Follow seasonal maintenance schedules and planting plans.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation at all times.
• Remove litter and debris from lawns and surrounding areas.
• Assist with landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, and minor repairs.

Requirements
• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred.
• Familiarity with lawn care equipment (e.g. mowers, strimmer's, blowers).
• Basic understanding of horticulture and turf management.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good physical fitness and stamina.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Valid UK driving licence may be required for mobile roles.
