Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in home care environments. The role involves delivering personalised care to enhance the wellbeing and independence of clients, with a focus on dignity and respect. Candidates will be responsible for supporting patients with daily activities, medication management, and behavioural needs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This position offers valuable experience in senior care, dementia care, hospice support, and more.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
Administer medication following prescribed guidelines and document accurately
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing
Manage behavioural challenges with patience and effective behaviour management techniques
Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment
Drive clients to appointments or outings as required (driving licence preferred)
Monitor health status and report any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals
