Summary

We're looking for a Finance Manager to join our Building Solutions North team based in Sheffield (or Salford).



Location: Sheffield (or Salford)

Hours: 40 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?As a Finance Manager, you'll be working within the Building Solutions North team, supporting them in delivering accurate financial reporting and strategic planning across a portfolio of contracts.

Your day to day will include:

-Preparing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts in collaboration with regional SLT and contract leads

-Producing monthly accounts with detailed analysis and reporting against budgets and forecasts

-Attending contract review meetings to provide financial support, guidance, and challenge

-Managing cash flow and WIP across contracts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing

-Leading scenario modelling and risk/opportunity management for the North contracts



What are we looking for?This role of Finance Manager is great for you if:

-You are a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience

-You have experience in long-term contract accounting, ideally within the construction industry

-You are able to travel regularly to other Places offices and operational sites across the UK

-You are collaborative, trusted, and focused - values that are essential to building strong relationships and delivering results
