Summary
Are you a passionate and experienced EYFS Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a nurturing and inclusive primary school setting?
Hays Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Wolverhampton to recruit a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team from January 2026. This full-time role is to cover maternity leave until the end of the academic year in July 2026.

The Early Years team is well-established, and the school places a strong emphasis on child-centred learning, creativity, and outdoor play. Staff are supported by a proactive leadership team and benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities.
You will be joining a vibrant and supportive Early Years Foundation Stage team, delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to nursery-aged children. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons that support children's development across all areas of learning.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working in a nursery or EYFS setting
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
- A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early learning journey
