The role:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation of the Property Asset Management system in supporting the new Corporate Landlord function. You will primarily be working alongside a Senior Project Manager and Solutions Architect, engaging regularly with subject matter experts, sponsors and other support colleagues to make progress.

You must be skilled in working proactively, methodically and collaboratively with a project team in a complex and dynamic environment contributing to coordinating work and tracking progress. Also, domain knowledge of Local Authority Property / Corporate Landlord functionality and subject matter expertise in Property Asset Management are both highly desirable.



Key responsibilities:

Work closely with the Project Manager and subject matter experts from the service areas concerned to achieve the Project’s goals
Identify and undertake all necessary business analysis tasks including gaining a solid understanding of current processes and pain points, user needs analysis and requirements elicitation, developing ‘to be’ processes
Document and communicate your findings and ideas to the project team, service, and other stakeholders
Work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Shape and evaluate options as part of business case development
Research how comparable authorities/companies deliver similar services



What the client is looking for:

High level of facilitation and communication skills
Requirements elicitation and development experience
Process design & redesign experience
Skilled in working proactively, methodically and collaboratively with a project team in a complex and dynamic environment
Experience of developing new and existing processes, ideally in a local authority context
Drive to proactively and continuously problem-solve and work creatively to maximise the effectiveness of the services we deliver
Ability to contribute to and thrive in a collaborative, evolving work environment
Domain knowledge of Local Authority Property / Corporate Landlord functionality and subject matter expertise in Property Asset Management are both highly desirable
