A respected care provider is seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join their team in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities, at one of their, homely, 3 bed residential setting in Leicester.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about creating safe, nurturing environments where young people can grow, thrive, and feel empowered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support young people in daily routines, hobbies, friendships, and personal development
- Lead shifts confidently and provide guidance to team members
- Step into management duties during the absence of senior staff
- Conduct staff supervisions and support colleague inductions
- Promote safeguarding and well-being at all times
- Oversee health and safety procedures, including risk assessments
