Long Term Futures is seeking a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing. The successful candidate will support a Year 3 pupil with brittle bone disease, alongside providing small group and general classroom support.

This is a rewarding, varied role suited to someone who is calm, confident, and committed to ensuring all pupils can access learning safely and successfully.

About the Role

You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals to provide a consistent, safe, and encouraging environment. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Offering 1:1 support to the pupil during lessons, ensuring safe mobility and access to activities.
- Supporting small group learning and classroom tasks when the pupil is independent.
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive peer interaction.
- Promoting inclusion and adapting learning to meet individual needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience supporting children with physical or medical needs, ideally in a school setting.
- Calm, professional, and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Trained in or confident with manual handling, wheelchair use, or similar care tasks.
- A team player who can balance 1:1 and wider classroom support effectively.
