Summary


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join the Older adult inpatient team, based at the Woodlands Hospital, Salford. This is a fixed term, full-time post, covering Monday to Friday. We will consider flexible/part time working hours. The applicant should be able to demonstrate relevant experience of working with older people and preferably have relevant mental health experience.



The job holder will be responsible for managing a daily caseload of clients with acute and complex mental health and physical healthcare needs and completing a range of assessments and treatment plans to contribute to the discharge planning process.

Under the guidance of the Unit’s Band 7 Physiotherapist, they will also contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of the physiotherapy services within the in-patient unit and contribute to falls projects and training for staff within the service area. The successful candidate would be providing supervision support to Physio assistants as part of their role.
