This luxurious property, part of a renowned collection, is celebrated for delivering exceptional guest experiences and unparalleled service. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the fine dining operations at this award-winning venue.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s elegant fine dining restaurant, including:
-Lead and inspire a team of servers, sommeliers, and hosts, managing recruitment, training, and performance development.
-Ensure seamless service delivery, from reservation management to guest interactions, upholding a commitment to personalized luxury experiences.
-Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to create exceptional dining experiences, including menu pairings, wine selections, and special events.
-Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost management to drive profitability.
-Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
-Handle guest feedback proactively, resolving issues with professionalism to enhance satisfaction scores.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.
Essential Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment (Michelin-starred or equivalent preferred).
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and nurture high-performing teams.
-Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and cocktail programs.
-Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest-centric service.
-Proficiency in POS systems, reservation software (e.g., ResDiary), and Microsoft Office.
-Relevant qualifications such as WSET certification or a degree in Hospitality Management are advantageous.
-Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and a full UK driving license (due to the rural location).
