The Food Recruitment Group are partnering with an established and growing independent fresh fish specialist, supplying high-quality seafood to top hotels, restaurants and hospitality venues across the South.
What’s on offer:
✅ Locations: Portsmouth & Wimborne
✅ Salary: £28,000–£30,000 depending on experience & knife skill level
✅ Day shift (5:30am–3:30pm) or Night shift (6pm–4am) -Monday to Friday – Amendment to this shift pattern is possible.
✅ Consistent salary all year round
✅ Optional Sunday night overtime paid at £150 per shift
✅ Calm, respectful, family-run work culture - not high-pressure factory work
✅ Fresh day-boat fish- quality over volume
✅ 2 x 30-minute breaks + your birthday off
✅ Applications from skilled workers currently employed and looking to move are welcome
About the role:
You will be hand filleting fresh fish to order, working as part of a small, highly skilled team. Quality, precision and pride in your craft matter more than production-line speed.
We are looking for:
✅ Experience in hand filleting fish (any species)
✅ Reliable, professional and team-focused
✅ Comfortable working in a chilled environment
✅ Looking for a long-term, stable position -not seasonal work
