Summary
Earn a minimum of £2150 for 10 shifts before Christmas with Gist

We’re recruiting for Class 1 trunking work—simple, no-touch runs between depots and RDCs, with minimal interaction and regular shift patterns. Ideal for drivers who prefer straightforward routes and reliable hours.
Pay Rates between 29th November and 1st January 2026 :
1. Days: From £19.52 per hour
2. Nights: From £20.72 per hour
3. Weekends: Up to £25.06 per hour
4. All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
We are looking for drivers to start between 01:00 – 05:00, and 14:00 – 19:00. Shift lengths are usually between 10-11 hours.
Once you’ve passed your driving assessment, you’ll get full training to hit the ground running safely and confidently.
Requirements:
1. Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
2. Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
3. Minimum 12 months of recent HGV driving experience required
4. No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
