Summary
Live-In Housekeeper / Cook / Companion/ Driver for Private Estate
A private household is seeking a reliable, independent, experienced, and versatile live-in housekeeper/cook who can also assist with driving duties.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, discreet, and take genuine pride in keeping the home and grounds beautifully maintained as well as looking after the principal owner of the property.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily cleaning, tidying, and organisation of all areas of the home
Laundry & ironing
Preparing and cooking fresh, healthy daily meals (mainly for one person)
Occasional group lunches & dinner party cooking
Grocery shopping, kitchen and pantry management
Setting and serving meals when required
Managing household supplies and reporting maintenance issues
Keeping outdoor spaces neat and well-presented
Driving duties — as requested
Admin - assist with emails, printing and computer work
Dog sitting when owner is away
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar private household role
Daily cleaning, laundry, and home organisation
Confident cook with a range of home-style and healthy dishes
Clean UK (or relevant) driving licence and confident driver
High attention to detail and organisational skills
Discreet, trustworthy, and able to work independently
Right to work in the UK
Accommodation & Benefits:
Private flat within the main house (no pets) spouse/ partner acceptable
Rent & Council Tax included in salary
Use of household car for work duties
