Hours: 37 hours, Monday to Friday

Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive Material Controller to ensure the timely flow of materials in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS). This role is critical to supporting production output, maintaining accurate SAP records, and coordinating across Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Production/Service Orders, ensuring alignment with MPS and customer requirements.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and expedite production through internal areas.
- Schedule and track orders using SAP, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
- Use Teamcenter to apply the latest drawings and work instructions to production orders.
- Coordinate vendor operations and deliveries with Logistics teams.
- Implement FRB/MRB actions and attend meetings to manage non-conforming materials.
- Liaise with Industrial Engineering to confirm accurate rework descriptions and timings.
- Communicate potential delays, suggest reprioritisations, and provide progress updates to the Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with ESD/FOD policies.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience as a Material Controller, Production Planner, or similar in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in SAP; experience with Teamcenter or similar systems desirable.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with problem-solving capability.
- Awareness of ESD/FOD and quality standards advantageous.
