Summary
** Strictly no agencies ** Overall Purpose:
To work within the Academy Catering team providing a comprehensive and quality service to all staff, students and visitors to the Darlington College sites.
Specific Responsibilities:
To perform general duties as required including:
a. General cleaning tasks and servicing of catering kitchens, including restock of dispensers, cloths and towels
b. Movement of catering stock to designated stores and service points within campus and other outlets
c. Removal of various waste streams to appropriate bin compound
d. Ensuring that service fridges are stocked at key times of the day
e. Complete laundry duties including processing and delivering cloths etc
f. Periodic Deep cleaning of key catering equipment such as fryers and ovens
g. Clearing and servicing of tables in the dining area
General Responsibilities
• Compliance with all statutory requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, the College Health and Safety Policy and any other relevant procedures
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the Line Manager commensurate with the grade of the post
Additional Information
• Complete mandatory training either virtual or in person
• Physical tasks such as moving cages and stock around the site will be a significant part of the duties.
