Summary
Deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality preoperative care across both scrub and anaesthetic roles. Support high-volume orthopaedic lists, with a minimum of5 cases per day, scaling up to78 cases. Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and equipment for major joint replacement surgeries. Assist anaesthetists in patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery phases. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical governance and safety protocols. Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre teams to optimise patient outcomes. Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold best practices in surgical nursing.
