Summary
Role:
As a member of the team you will be responsible for preparation, cooking, and presentation of food and assisting in running sections of the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
To prepare, cook and present freshly made food.
To assist in the running of a section in the kitchen ensuring the correct levels of stock and mis en place are maintained and the cleanliness of the section.
To ensure that the restaurant standards are maintained in terms of food quality and presentation
To be responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen and the back of house areas and to ensure that all requirements (both statutory and Company) are met in relation to Health & Safety and Food Safety.
To ensure all food preparation, handling and storage is carried out adhering to company hygiene standards.
To take responsibility for portion control and wastage to ensure gross profits are achieved
To demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene in terms of both appearance and working practices
