Site Agent – Major Infrastructure Project (Devonport, Southwest UK)
Location: Devonport, Southwest UK

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our team on a major infrastructure project in Devonport. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in one of the UK’s most complex and high-profile construction programmes, leading site operations and driving delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective on-site leadership and promote a strong safety and quality culture.
Coordinate subcontractor activities and lead regular site coordination meetings.
Liaise with project teams, departments, and senior leadership to ensure smooth delivery.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company standards.
Review drawings and technical documents, managing TQs, RFIs, and NCRs.
Maintain risk registers and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting.
Manage handover documentation and ensure project completion standards are met.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Site Agent, or 2+ years as a Senior Engineer.
Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and site management systems.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
Experience using BIM/Digital tools (e.g., Autodesk, Bentley).
Experience with scheduling tools such as Aphex or Primavera P6.
Chartered status or project management training (e.g., APM, Prince2).
Site management qualifications such as SMSTS, IOSH, Temporary Works, or Lifting AP.
