Summary
This is a Part-Time role. - 3 day equivalent
The Sound Designer and Music Composer role covers the composition, production and mastering of audio work for slot machine and casino games available worldwide. We are looking for a musically talented individual who is highly passionate about sounds and has a keen interest in gaming to help elevate our players’ experience to the next level. Collaborating closely with development, art and design teams is essential to ensuring a smooth working process and seamless audio integration across projects. This role required a strong understanding of a wide variety of musical styles and genres.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with design teams to find a suitable style, tone and intensity of music and sounds based on different themes, tailored for different customer markets
- Work closely with art and development teams to ensure that all audio work syncs up perfectly with animations, outcomes and game flows
- Ensure the organisation of files, project timelines and other processes are managed efficiently
-Suggesting where and how we can improve the game through audio-based changes
- Analysing markets and researching competitors to ensure we are at the front of the industry with our standards and approach to audio work
Required Skills and Experience
A strong understanding of musical theory and composition rules
Music production techniques, including mixing and mastering
An understanding of digital audio properties, formats and file types
An understanding of slot machine games and casino games
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

3+ years experience working with music and sound.
