What you’ll do:
Support Year 1 and Year 2 classes with day-to-day learning. You’ll set up activities, circulate to guide pupils, run short phonics/early number groups, and provide 1:1 check-ins for children who need an extra nudge. You’ll help keep routines tight, capture brief progress notes, and flag next steps to the class teacher.

Who you are:
A reliable graduate who explains ideas simply, stays organised, and builds quick rapport with young children. You follow guidance, use initiative when needed, and keep sessions calm and focused.

Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear, confident written and verbal skills.
• Enhanced DBS – Held already or willingness to obtain.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in KS1 learning and pupil wellbeing.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
