Job Title Personal Assistant / Carer
Purpose of the
job To support a friendly 19 year old man (ADHD and Autism) with daily activities supporting him to be independent. This may require prompting him and working on new skills alongside him.
Hours and rate
of Pay £12.50 per hour
Main Duties · Prompts for Activities of Daily Living · Support to get into a daily routine · Empower and facilitate discussions to help keep self safe from exploitation, online safety, etc · Support with college work and passing driving theory test · Support with administrative tasks such as helping with benefit messages, getting medication prescriptions · Support to manage anxiety when doing new things or things where there are a lot of people and sensory stimuli · Support to be social

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer. Driving licence with own transport. Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, calm and reliable. My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity. My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition. You must be able to work well independently. My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
