Summary

Job Title: 0.4 Hair Assessor
Location: Peterborough
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 14.8 per week

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hair Assessor to join our team. In this role, you will assess learners undertaking Hair & Beauty qualifications, supporting them to achieve their goals and ensuring compliance with awarding body standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess learners against Hair & Beauty qualifications in line with awarding body standards.
  • Conduct practical assessments and review learners' portfolios of evidence.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support learner progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessment decisions and learner outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with college policies and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Hair & Beauty department.

Person Specification:

  • Relevant Hair & Beauty qualifications.
  • Experience in assessment, teaching, or mentoring in the Hair & Beauty sector.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of awarding body standards and assessment practices.
