We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in welding.
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
Day to day duties of the role
- Assisting the Engineering Teaching Staff in the management of workshops and laboratories.
- Organising and providing the safe storage, usage, and working of all materials and equipment by both staff and students, in conformity with Health and Safety regulations.
- Assisting staff in the management and the purchase of resources and equipment.
- Safely setting up, preparing learning activities, and / or designing, as appropriate, equipment for the use of students and staff.
Required skills and qualifications
- Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Engineering.
- Up to date knowledge of Engineering practices.
- Relevant experience.
- Highly motivated.
