Role Overview:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Pharmacy Porter to join our Supply Chain team. You’ll play an essential part in
ensuring the safe, timely, and compliant delivery of pharmacy medicines across the hospital — supporting frontline staff and
helping maintain the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely transporting medicines across the hospital to wards and departments.
* Ensuring a continuous supply of stock medications in line with agreed schedules.
* Using handheld technology to record deliveries and maintain accurate documentation.
* Building positive working relationships with pharmacy and clinical teams.
* Providing cover across wider pharmacy services when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
* A good team player with strong communication skills.
* Able to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and walking throughout the shift.
* Confident using basic technology (training provided).
* Flexible and willing to learn new processes.
* Desirable:
Experience in a healthcare, supply chain, or porter role is an advantage but not essential.
