Overview
This role involves cutting, preparing, and identifying electrical cables and wires for harness and connector assemblies used in high-reliability industries (such as aerospace and defence).
Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and strip electrical wires and cables according to work orders and drawings.

Use cable preparation tools (cutters, strippers, crimpers, heat guns, etc.).
•
Label and batch cables with part numbers or identification markers.
•
Maintain accuracy and quality to IPC/WHMA standards.
•
Follow detailed manufacturing instructions and technical drawings.
•
Keep work area organised and comply with health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in electrical assembly or cable preparation (preferred but not always required — training often provided).

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
•
Ability to read wiring diagrams or work instructions.
•
Quality-conscious with good time management.
