Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within a busy manufacturing site. You’ll play a key role in leading a team of up to 12 people, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety procedures are consistently achieved.
What are we looking for?
• Strong motivational and people management skills to inspire a team.
• Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Confident leading from the front having a strong presence on the factory shop floor.
• You’ll have a proactive attitude, great communication skills, and the ability to coach, develop, and motivate your team to deliver outstanding results.
• ILM Level 3–5 qualifications would be advantageous but not essential.
What will the role involve?
As Production Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the manufacturing process. You’ll:
• Manage people, performance, and equipment availability to meet production and quality targets
• Plan workloads and coordinate manufacturing and dispatch schedules
• Maintain quality standards, ensuring procedures and customer expectations are met
• Drive Health & Safety compliance and uphold company values across the site
• Lead by example, promoting continuous improvement and excellent housekeeping
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
• Coach and develop team members to build a high-performing, motivated workforce
This is a shop-floor-biased role, offering real ownership and influence in day-to-day operations. You’ll work 42 hours per week working 12 hour shifts (days) and covering every other weekend in these shifts.
