* Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
* Friday: 07:00 - 13:00
* Occasional overtime available based on customer demand
Salary: ?16.00 to ?18.50 per hour
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MIG / TIG Welder to join our skilled fabrication team. The role involves precision welding and fabrication of stainless steel and mild steel components, working to technical drawings and high-quality standards. This position is ideal for an experienced welder who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys contributing to a professional, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components (1.5mm and upwards).
* Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings accurately.
* Ensure all work meets Health & Safety regulations and company quality standards.
* Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects within set deadlines.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-conscious workspace.
* Support continuous improvement and uphold professional working practices.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Minimum 5 years of welding experience (references required).
* Proven background in fabrication or engineering workshop environments.
* Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of sheet metal work is advantageous.
* Understanding of mechanical systems beneficial.
