Summary

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (until 31st January 2026)

Salary: Grade I. Scale 35 - £46,142 to Scale 39 - £50,269 with a professional bar at SCP 37 £48,226**

Hours Per Week: 36 hours

Base Location: Jubilee Gardens, Gardenfold Way, Droylsden, M43 7XU

Assessment Date: Shortlisting to take place week beginning 3rd November, Interviews week beginning 24th November

The Role

This role provides effective and high quality professional social work to children and their families in accordance with legislation, national, regional and local statutory guidance, policies and procedures with the outcome of improving the lives of children in Tameside.

About You

You will provide advice and guidance to Social Workers who are working with the most complex children and families. The role will also involve holding a small caseload whilst still offering support to the professional group.
