Pay: £12.60 per hour / £26,278 pa (pro-rata) – nightshift premium £13.23/hr

At Capability Scotland, we do things differently. Our support visits are typically four hours or more, giving you the time to build meaningful relationships and make a lasting impact.

We are looking for Community Living Assistants to join our dedicated team in our West of Scotland Housing Support & Care at Home Services, supporting customers across Glasgow, Renfrewshire, and East Renfrewshire.

What You’ll Do

As a Community Living Assistant, you’ll provide personalised support to adults with a range of disabilities, delivered one-to-one or two-to-one depending on individual needs. Your role will include:

Supporting personal care, dressing, medication, and communication
Helping with meals and daily routines
Accompanying individuals to college, appointments, and social activities
Enabling participation in recreational and leisure pursuits that matter to each person

You’ll support customers to manage their tenancy at home while enabling engagement in the wider community, helping them live life on their terms.

What You Need

Experience in supporting adults with disabilities in home or community settings is essential
Flexible, person-centred approach, able to work evenings and weekends
Manual driving licence essential for community-based trips
Remaining vacancies are female-only due to intimate care requirements (Schedule 9 Part 1 (1)(1)(a) Equality Act 2010)
