Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with the SHC Histology team to uphold exemplary standards. Performing preventative maintenance on digital scanners to keep operations humming. Mentoring staff to excel in the digital section. Partnering with Pathology Managers, Deputies, and Seniors for efficient, cost-effective, high-quality service delivery. Advancing your expertise in investigation, reporting, and technology application. Analysing and interpreting complex data to inform decisions. Optimising specimen workflows and monitoring pathology investigations. Communicating sensitive information with empathy and precision. Building your skills (and those of your colleagues) through continuous learning. Championing health, safety, security, equality, diversity, and rights. Supporting service development, quality improvements, and staff training. Stepping up to deputise for senior BMS during absences. Ensuring smooth digital section operations to hit turnaround times. Supervising technical staff on your rota shifts. Who We're Looking For A state-registered BMS with at least 3 years' experience in a fast-paced UK lab.
