Summary
A lovely family based in Pimlico, London, is seeking a Part-time French-speaking Nanny-Housekeeper to care for their baby and toddler while keeping their home clean and well-organised. The role involves all general nanny-housekeeping duties. Responsibilities include helping with evening routines such as dinner and bath time, and once the baby arrives, supporting the mother with tasks like nappy changes and bottle preparation. Typically, one day per week will be focused on general housekeeping, though the balance between childcare and housekeeping may vary weekly depending on the family’s needs. The role also includes cooking meals for the whole family and occasionally walking the family’s small dog for about 30 minutes to a nearby garden. A valid First Aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: 3 hours a day, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Duties include:
Handle laundry duties, including washing and ironing clothes
Care for delicate or important household items
Hoover and mop all floors to maintain cleanliness
Clean windows, cupboards, surfaces, kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms
Manage and organise wardrobes to ensure neat storage
Support the children’s learning and development through engaging activities
Assist with washing, dressing, and personal care routines
Play and interact with the children to encourage growth and creativity
Change nappies and maintain hygiene
Sterilise and clean milk bottles regularly
Accompany the children to scheduled activities and outings
Ensure the children’s safety, well-being, and happiness at all times
