Summary
Class 2 Driver – Allington
Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing
Pay: £17.86 per hour (overtime after 48 hours: £26.79 per hour)
The Role We’re recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join a busy, customer-focused 2-person delivery team based in Allington. You’ll be responsible for delivering customer orders safely and efficiently within specified time windows.
You’ll work closely with a Driver’s Mate, who will assist with pre-calls, POD management, and customer service. This is a hands-on, physical role that involves some heavy lifting, so a positive attitude and teamwork are essential.
Full-time, ongoing work is available, with long-term and permanent opportunities for the right candidates.
Shift Pattern:
Working pattern: 4 on / 2 off, 4 on / 2 off, 5 on / 2 off
Flexibility required – this is not a Monday to Friday role

Requirements
- Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
- No DR10s, CD10s, or IN10s
- Relevant experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organised
- Committed, flexible, and punctual
- Must pass both theory and practical assessments
