Summary
Full time Mother’s Help Housekeeper role near Tadley, RG26
This family are looking for a Mother’s Help/Housekeeper-Nanny to support them with the children and around the home, whilst dad is at work. They have a 2.5-year-old girl and a little one due in December. The role is Monday to Friday 12noon to 8pm. Whilst this will primarily be a shared care role, the nanny must be comfortable to be in sole charge to care for their daughter and/or watch over the baby whilst mum rests or has appointments.
Duties will include helping with nursery pick-up (a short walk/drive down the lane), preparing healthy meals and snacks for the family, settling their daughter for her nap and bedtime, full cleaning to maintain a tidy home and all usual nursery duties including creating age-appropriate activities within the home to keep the little girl entertained in the afternoons.
There will be flexibility on the finish time, i.e. if their daughter falls asleep before 8pm the nanny may leave early and if it takes longer, they would need to stay slightly later - which would be paid overtime.
The little girl enjoys reading, playing with her toys, music, swimming in the home’s indoor pool, going on local countryside puddle walks and playing within the large garden. A kind, loving, engaging and pro-active Mother’s Help/Housekeeper would be a great match to work alongside and support mum as they welcome the new addition to their family.
The family are open to a candidate with prior nannying experience or who has significant experience caring for preschoolers and babies in a nursery or child-minding setting and is looking for their first nannying position.
