Summary

Class 1 (C+E) Driver - Clitheroe

£15.49 per hour | General Haulage | 06:00 starts | Ad-hoc sickness & holiday cover

We're currently looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work on an ad-hoc basis covering sickness and holiday leave for a well-established general haulage client based in Clitheroe.

This role offers flexibility, competitive pay, and the chance to work with a professional, driver-friendly transport team.

The Role:

  • General haulage work - palletised goods, no handball

  • Start times around 06:00 (may vary slightly depending on route)

  • Ad-hoc shifts covering holidays and sickness

  • Pre-work driving assessment required (paid after first completed shift)

  • Safe and professional operation of Class 1 vehicle

  • Completing all relevant vehicle checks and paperwork

Pay & Hours:

  • £15.49 per hour (PAYE)

  • Day shifts - typically 8 to 12 hours depending on route

  • Assessment paid after first completed shift

  • Weekly pay and on-call support from our transport team

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  • Minimum 6 months' Class 1 experience

  • No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN endorsements)

  • Must be reliable, flexible, and safety-conscious
