Summary

About the role:

Choice Support have an exciting opportunity; we are seeking a new team member to join us for our female Mental Health service.

The service is a 4 bedded shared house supported living, as a Support worker you will be supporting our residents with their day to day lives. If you are a people person and love helping others enjoy chatting this role would be perfect for you. Each day is different which will give you variety at work – one day you might be supporting a resident to town to do a spot of window shopping and to grab a hot chocolate and a slice of cake and then next day you might be supporting them sort out their finances or taking them to any medical appointments.

Hours: Full time (39 hours per week). The shift patterns include: 7am-3pm or 2pm-10pm. You will be required to work 2 out of 4 weekends.

Location: In the heart of Gravesend town, providing easy access to all main travel routes.

About you:

Some experience is required, basic IT skills, great communicator, spending time with crafts and fun as this is a varied role. we will provide you with the training you need to be a great Support Worker however you will need to be caring, patient, respectful and compassionate and be able to work well under pressure.

This service does not provide personal care, as the ladies are fully independent and just require support on a daily basis when needed.
