Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership :
- Lead, motivate, and support warehouse team members to achieve performance goals.
- Plan and allocate daily workloads and shift activities.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to staff.
- Foster a positive, safety-first, and team-oriented culture.
Operations Management :
- Oversee receiving, picking, packing, loading, and dispatch processes.
- Monitor productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer deadlines.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflow efficiency.
Inventory Control:
- Maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure all transactions are correctly recorded in the warehouse management system (WMS).
Health, Safety & Compliance :
- Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct safety checks and promote safe handling of equipment and materials.
- Report incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Communication & Reporting :
- Communicate operational updates and priorities to the team.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments (procurement, transport, production, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
