About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced Children’s Support Workers for flexible, ad hoc shifts across a variety of children’s residential settings. This is an ideal role for candidates looking for varied, meaningful work through an agency, with the potential to secure a permanent role for the right person.
You will be supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs in a safe, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people
Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour
Support with day-to-day routines and activities
Promote independence, confidence, and life skills
Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
Work collaboratively with staff teams and professionals
Requirements
Minimum 6–12 months experience working with children or young people in a care/support setting
Experience with emotional or challenging behaviour
A calm, resilient, and caring approach
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Flexibility to work ad hoc shifts, including evenings/weekends
Right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available
