Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (including day, night, and occasional sleep-in shifts)

About the Home
Our Outstanding graded Ofsted home, is a purpose-built, single-level residential setting that supports up to five children with complex medical needs and learning disabilities, from early childhood through to their 18th birthday. We provide specialist, high-quality care in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment designed to help each child reach their full potential.

The Role
We are looking for committed, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join our dedicated team as Residential Support Workers. You will provide 1:1 support to children with complex needs, including tube feeding, tracheostomy care, and other specialist medical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with children under supervision during your first 12 weeks, until signed off by the nurse.
• Shadow a nurse or the manager as part of a structured induction.
• Support children with complex medical and learning needs in line with individual care plans.
• Maintain clear communication and accurate documentation.
• Be proactive, flexible, and contribute positively to the team environment.

Rota Example

Applicants must be able to do both day and night shifts on a rota
• Two full weekends off per month
• Night shifts: 8:30pm – 8:00am
• Day shifts: 7:30am – 9:00pm
• Late shifts: 2:00pm – 9:00pm

Requirements
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong communication skills and understanding of care terminology
• Reliable, mature, and compassionate team player
• Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential – full training provided
