Wrexham University is looking for a graduate in software development with recent industry experience in C/C++ to fulfil a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate Role to introduce a bespoke cloud-based software system within the business and enable the company to embed new knowledge and capability to further develop the system, maintain it and use it effectively in the future.
This role will project manage the delivery of the technical and knowledge transfer objectives set as part of the project. The successful candidate will work with and utilise the expertise with the Faculty of Arts Computing and Engineering within Wrexham University to embed knowledge into the company for future delivery capability and development.
The Associate will need to be degree qualified within software development related subjects, with a requirement that the Associate will have had previous experience in C based language, such as C++, Java or C# to ensure they can easily take this project forward efficiently.
In addition, there will be a £4000 bespoke training budget available to support the Associate. They will be based in Deeside, in addition to visiting the university on an ad hoc basis when required.
This appointment is made as a result of the approval of a Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Welsh Government funded support with ACE Lifts Ltd.
