Remedy are seeking an enthusiastic, inclusive SEN Secondary Learning Support Assistant for schools in the Lewisham area. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant in Lewisham that is looking for either long-term, short-term or part-time role.
The suitable candidates will have experience of supporting children in school and must be able to manage behaviour and motivate students in class.
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is able to;
- Provide assistance and supervision for children during the school day
- Assist children to understand and participate in class
- Work on a 1:1 basis with students if necessary
- Help to build confidence and motivation
- Adapt to various tasks and needs
- Live locally to / be able to travel into Lewisham
As you may be required to cover at different schools in and around the Lewisham area having your own transport is desirable but not essential.
To be considered for the position you must have a valid clear DBS check or be willing to submit one.
