Summary
TXM Recruit are looking for a Logistic Administrator to join Hitachi Rail at their Newton Aycliffe Manufacturing Facility. Please contact TXM Recruit if you would like to hear more about the opportunity.
Job Function
The Logistics Administrator adds value to the UK Logistics function by supporting compliance with procurement and trade control processes and delivering data and reporting required by both the business and local and international legislation.
This role will work very closely with other members of the Logistics function.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather internal historical data and convert that into requests to suppliers for their data
- Collate and support validation of data for trade control reporting and ensure timely submission
- Follow up with suppliers to obtain necessary inputs and documentation
- Maintain control over received and outstanding data, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams to complete required reports and meet deadlines
Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Has experience with SAP
- Has very good knowledge of Microsoft office suite especially Excel
- Has a detail oriented approach to their work
- Demonstrates resilience and persistence
- Enjoys coordinating with team members
- Good communication skills
- Good verbal and written English
Desirable
- Experience with budget and spend management
- Experience engaging with suppliers
