Summary
Stores Operative required for a key engineering client based in Southampton on permanent basis.
As a stores operative you would be working Monday to Friday, 0830-1600 with a 30 min lunch break, 35-hour week. This comes with a salary of £27000 - £28000 a year.
Stores Operative Responsibilities:
- Unloading and reloading wheel sets
- Unloading and move parts and components around depot
- Fuel checks on locomotives, topping up where required
- Ensuring all parts and tools are topped up and located accordingly
- Stock Takes
Stores Operative Competencies Required:
- Forklift license – up to 5 tonnes
- Driving license
- Happy to count stock and report back
- Picking material
- Packaging material for dispatch
